Privacy & cookies
Last updated 19 July 2026. This page describes what z8.run — the marketing site — collects. It does not describe the Z8 runtime, which you self-host and which sends us nothing.
The short version
This site sets no analytics cookies unless you accept them. If you decline, no Google code is loaded at all — not blocked after the fact, simply never requested. We do not sell, rent or share what we collect, and we run no advertising or cross-site tracking.
What we store in your browser

The first two are localStorage entries, not cookies: they stay on your device and are never transmitted to us.
Analytics, if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which parts of this page are read and which are ignored, so we can cut the parts that are not working. With consent granted we collect: pages viewed, how far down the page you scrolled, which sections came into view, which code samples you opened, which buttons you clicked, plus the coarse technical context Google derives (approximate region, device type, browser, referring site). IP addresses are anonymised. Google Signals, advertising features and ad personalisation are off.
Google acts as our processor and may transfer data to servers outside your country; Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for those transfers. Google's own terms are at business.safety.google/privacy.
Changing your mind
Use cookie settings at any time to accept or decline again — the same link sits in the site footer. Declining stops future loading immediately; to remove data already collected, email us and we will submit a deletion request to Google. Your browser's "clear site data" also removes everything above.
If you email us
Booking a demo or writing to henry@z8.run sends us your email address and whatever you write. We keep it to answer you and to manage the commercial relationship, and for no other purpose.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port and object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your national supervisory authority. Exercise any of them by writing to henry@z8.run; we answer within 30 days.
